Instruction for the use of masks and goggles against asphyxiating gases

Punto I

Point I

La maschera si adatta al viso facendo passare sopra la testa il nastro elastico con la fettuccia scorrevole al centro. La lunghezza dell’elastico si regola per mezzo della fibbia

The mask adapts to the face by passing the elastic tape over the head with the sliding tape in the center. The length of the elastic is adjusted by means of the buckle

Si piega con le dita la laminetta di piombo cucita nel bordo superiore della maschera, in modo da farla aderire perfettamente all’osso del naso e sotto le occhiaie

Fold with your fingers the lead sheet sewn into the upper edge of the mask, so that it adheres perfectly to the nose bone and under the eye sockets

Si legano dietro la nuca le due fettucce superiori

Tie the two upper straps behind the neck

Punto IV

Point IV

Si tirano le fettucce inferiori, in modo da arricciare sotto il mento l’orlo inferiore della maschera, legandole poi fortemente sopra il capo

Pull the lower straps, so as to curl the lower edge of the mask under the chin, then tie them tightly over the head

Point V

Gli occhiali si mettono in ultimo, curando che chiudano perfettamente le occhiaie

The glasses are put on at last, making sure that they surround the eye sockets perfectly
